There is beauty all around us, If we open our eyes to see, God turns a worm to a butterfly, And gives flight to the honey bee. There is beauty in the mind of Jesus, It's made manifest by His creation, For on that glorious dawn of this age, The morning stars sang with elation.
There is beauty in the heart of the Father, Tender mercies and grace without end, For when we were lost and blinded by sin, He sent heaven's High King to defend.
There is beauty in God's Holy Spirit, Who gives comfort and helps in our need, He is the One who gives us voice, When we don't know how to proceed.
There is beauty in salvation's story, How the King became poor for our sake, And bestowed on us heaven's true riches of grace, That of His nature we may now partake.
Jesus carried his heavy cross to Calvary It was all because of his great love for you and me Cruel men did mock him and spit in his face He endured it all because he was taking our place It was our sin that put him on the cross that day Dying for our sins so we would not have to pay It was his love that kept him nailed to the tree So we could be forgiven and in Heaven one day be If he had not paid that tremendous price for us There would simply be no hope because It took the blood of the sinless Lamb of God to pay for all For all the sins of the world since the Adam and Eve fall If we had to pay for our own sins, we would have to go to hell It is such a horrible place with fire, that it breaks my heart to tell That is where there is gnashing of teeth and weeping and wailing But Jesus paid for our sins and his love is unfailing When he suffered on the cross and bled and died "Truly this was the Son of God" some cried After that he was in the tomb for three days and then arose The payment did suffice and eternal life to believers he bestows When I get to heaven I am going to tell Jesus "Thank you for all you did for me. I don't deserve to be here But you saved me mercifully"
1. God Loves You! The Bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" The problem is that . . . 2. All of us have done, said or thought things that are wrong. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God. The Bible says “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” God is perfect and holy, and our sins separate us from God forever. The Bible says “The wages of sin is death.” The good news is that, about 2,000 years ago, 3. God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. “God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.” Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with God His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life -- of living forever with Him in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me." God reaches out in love to you and wants you to be His child. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name." You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and come in to your life as your Lord and Savior. 4. If you want to accept Christ as Savior and turn from your sins, you can ask Him to be your Savior and Lord by praying a prayer like this: "Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always."
Prayer is communication between man and God. A family that incorporates prayer into their lifestyle are giving the ultimate gift to themselves. Life is difficult and suffering is an inevitable part of life. A family that prays knows that they can turn to God and be accepted and loved for who they are. Every human being needs to turn to God with his or her triumphs and failures and know that life is meaningful. A family that prays together has the ultimate support system.
One night, Jesus asked me in a dream "Who do You say I am?" I answered "You are Christ the Savior, Son of the Living God." He replied, "Yes, I am Your First, I am Your Last I am Your Abundant Life, I am Your Head, I am Your Friend I am Your Happiness, I am Your Water, I am Your Bread I am Your Deliverer, I am Your Righteousness, I am Your Security I am Your Peace and I am Your Answer." Then Jesus asked me again, "Who do you say I am?"
